is a certified Edible Landscape Designer. She has been gardening in Southern California for over 20 years. In addition to her landscaping business, she volunteers her time with survivors of domestic violence, growing vegetables, herbs, fruit and flowers at two local shelters for women and their children. She is the recipient of the 2008 Sharon Katell Spirit Award from Sojourn Services for Battered Women and Children. She is a devoted advocate of local Farmer’s Markets, eating organic locally grown food and making seasonal recipes. She is currently a contributing writer to Edible Los Angeles Magazine.
