CHILDREN’S GARDENS
If you grow it, your family will eat it! Take a basket and scissors outside with you when you start to prepare dinner—or better yet, send your kids out there and let them see how many things they can find to put in your family’s meal. Lettuce, herbs, greens, flowers! Introduce new things from the garden into the food you cook. Try growing radishes and dark red lettuce, yellow, orange and scarlet chard, and purple curly Russian red kale. You’ll be amazed at the things your children will eat. Kids love to plant seeds and reap the rewards. Let them plant rainbow colored carrots and purple cauliflower and sow the seeds of love for healthy eating from the garden.
RAISED BED GARDENS are a great way to contain your garden that’s easy to care for and looks unbelievably attractive. Raised beds can be any size or shape and can easily be designed to fit your garden needs and style. In a contained garden it’s easier to control soil content, keep weeds down, irrigate, plant and harvest!
